Delivery timeframes commence once all requested documentation is received.
The permit charges are determined by the information provided in the initial online application.
Annual Permits are granted on a case by case basis and will only be issued after meeting with a member of the National Permits Team to determine need and use. The cost of an Annual Permit is $3,250.00 (+GST).
Your Permit to Enter may require an approved rail protection officer(s) to be present during works.
For safety reasons, all protection is booked and managed by KiwiRail.

Cancellation policy
Please note that once you have booked a protection officer with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you.
If you wish to cancel or postpone safety protection less than five working days before it is scheduled to take place, you will be charged the full cost.
To avoid being charged, you must provide cancellation notice at least 5 working days in advance via email to a KiwiRail representative.
