Newsletter: Drury Rail Stations May 2026

Teams across all three Drury Rail Stations have been working hard in recent months, as Drury and Paerātā get
closer to the finish line, and Ngākōroa makes huge progress.

At Drury and Paerātā, the civil works sites achieved practical completion in March. This includes the car parks, bus
interchanges, roading, and wetlands. In early May, we joined our Mana Whenua partners, NZ Transport Agency
Waka Kotahi, and our contractors for a dawn karakia (blessing) at the civil works sites and the State Highway 22
Paerātā roundabout, which provides access to the new station.
